Sports Officials UK (SOUK) is aiming to become recognised as the organisation responsible for representing and supporting officials across all sports in the UK

Sports Officials UK (SOUK) is a group of representatives from a number of NGBs who are all responsible for the training education and development of officials within their given sport.

SOUK was formed to address some of the common problems and recruitment issues encountered by sports and share examples of good practice in the relation to the training and development of referees, umpires, stewards and judges.

SkillsActive is encouraging and supporting SOUK to become recognised as the organisation responsible for representing and supporting officials across all sports and across the UK.

SkillsActive held regional and UK-wide consultations on developing National Occupational Standards for officials. These are now adopted by many National Governing Bodies.
