SOUK and the LDA
In its role as the voice of sports officiating in the UK, SOUK is one of the Steering Committee members of Official Sports London, an exciting bursary scheme funded by the London Development Agency and Sport England. The project aims to increase the number, skill level and diversity of sports officials in London across a wide range of sports. Experienced officials as well as people who are brand new to officiating can be supported through the scheme, as long as they are London residents and aged 16+. SOUK and the YST
SOUK is also supporting the Youth Sport Trust who are developing a Young Officials scheme; initially this will aim at the sports included in the UK School Games, and these sports all have a young officials training co-ordinator attached to the NGBs.
